Due to COVID-19 a lot of businesses have closed down their doors and are slowly re-opening. Nike wanted to partner with local BIPOC artists that live in NE Portland, and expressing what Albina/Alberta meant to them. I drew inspiration from the Walnut Park complex from when I was a child, specifically the former Mid-K Beauty Supply Store.
